Braided synthetic absorbable suture with complete absorption after 90-120 days. Composed of several polyglycolic acid threads, covered with polycaprolactone and calcium stereate, it is colorless and sterilized with ethylene oxide. It has an atraumatic needle and is made of stainless steel. The PGA suture is characterized by its progressive loss of tensile strength due to absorption and metabolization by the body. It is indicated for suturing areas near the soft tissues and where medium absorption is needed. Length of thread 45 cm.
