Octocolagen® is particularly suitable in surgeries due to its very good haemostatic and healing effects. Octocolagen® should be applied in the cavity where haemostasis is desired. Octocolagen® should be applied as an absorbable haemostatic plug to reduce haemorrhage. The porous structure can absorb a large volume of fluid, a minimum of at least 35 times each cube’s weight.
