Carbon-fibre composite posts. Elastic and resistant. Cylindrical. Carbon-fibre composite posts: made from strong, elastic braided carbon fibre and composite agglomerates. The carbon fibre prevents breakages, making for a very elastic post. Unlike metal posts, which are hard and rigid, it does not transmit stress or impacts to the dentine. On the contrary, they have a similar elasticity to dentine and work in tandem with it to absorb stresses. The composite establishes a bond with the resin cement and composite used in the core buildup. Available in three different sizes, all cylindrical with a slightly conical tip, ideal for the root canal and accurate matching with calibrated reamers. Carbonite posts are long and can easily be cut to size to obtain the required length. Kit containing 18 pieces, 6 for each size, and 3 reamers; or boxes containing 6 units of each size.
