Kerr nickel-titanium files are designed to cut quickly, effectively and safely, with a unique dentinal debris removal system. - The asymmetrical design enhances cutting action while reducing friction on canal walls. - The file’s core diameter increases from the tip to maintain flexibility along the entire cutting length. - The safe-ended tip follows the canal’s natural curve and minimises the possibility of apical perforation. - The increasing helix angle of the cutting surface, from the tip to handle, enables more effective elimination of dentinal debris, without the risk of the file lodging. - Handles are 4mm shorter than normal systems to facilitate posterior access.
