Jet-Fresh® is the first prophylaxis powder which is unaffected by moisture and improves the efficiency of sodium bicarbonate. Bicarbonate is often included in powder/water applications; these may be three times faster than manual polishing but also have the disadvantages of powder residue buildup and blockages in air-polishing products, a significant degree of abrasion, a salty taste and messy application given the uncontrolled spray. Jet-Fresh® is an aluminium trioxide powder, with round particles and 100% bicarbonate-free: - Moisture-insensitive so it does not block dental lines. - Particles have greater cleaning capacity as they are not dissolved by the water / air in the system. - Sodium-free and leaves a refreshing rather than salty taste in the mouth.
