Packable, restorative glass ionomer cement. Fugi IX GP® was developed in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO). This posterior restorative material, a packable glass ionomer, is quick, easy-to-use and has twice the flexural strength of other glass ionomers. Finishing procedures can be started immediately after setting. High wear resistance. Indications: Bases, core buildups, single surface restorations and long-term provisionalisation of multi-surface posterior restorations. Advantages: Packable material with intrinsic chemical adhesion to dentine and enamel, excellent biocompatibility. Reduced aqueous solubility, high compressive strength and fluoride release.
