Fleximeter-Strips are flexible strips supplied in three different thicknesses for measuring the height of the preparation when grinding teeth for crown, bridge or telescopic crown restorations. 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm thick Fleximeter-Strips can also be used to accurately increase the occlusal vertical dimension. They are made from a special silicone that can be sterilised at up to 200°C. A coat of Arti-Spot® contact colour can also be applied to the Fleximeter-Strips and this used as a practical indicator which is capable of detecting insufficient preparation heights thanks to its colouring.
