IPS Empress® Direct: the only direct composite that can be called Empress®. A new, highly aesthetic, nanohybrid composite for the anterior teeth joins the IPS family of products. The aesthetics of a ceramic with the convenience of a composite. IPS Empress® Direct is available in 32 shades and 5 levels of translucency. - Produces restorations comparable with those of ceramics. - High level of aesthetics thanks to its natural shades. - Exceptional handling. - Dentine materials with high radiopacity and low shrinkage. - Enamel materials with nanofillers, which ensure a smooth surface and an exceptional shine after polishing. From a chemical point of view, the filler particles used in IPS Empress® Direct consist of the same basic components as IPS Empress® ceramic. Therefore, IPS Empress® Direct is the ideal composite for use in combination with IPS Empress® ceramics because it allows aesthetic, natural-looking direct restorations to be created.
