Looped archwires offer excellent versatility for a variety of applications including anterior intrusion, space closure, elastic engagement, anterior retraction, etc. Looped archwires are offered in a range of sizes to accommodate most patients upper and lower arches, locating the loops between the lateral and cuspid. Manipulate anterior and posterior segments by activating the loops independently or in unison. To select proper size looped arch, measure along incisal edge from distal of lateral to distal of opposite lateral with a mm ruler.
