The model shows the detail of an individual flower enlarged by a factor of about 8 to 1 and with a pollen scattering mechanism included. The true-to-life models can be dismantled into 12 parts for even greater clarity. On the base, there is also an 3-to-1 enlargement of an open ripe pea pod.
